Family remains at the heart of everything I do. I’m married, a proud parent of two adult children, and a dog mom to six dogs. I’m also incredibly proud that one of my children is following in our family’s footsteps and becoming the fifth generation of barbers.

From my grandparents’ chairs to my own shop today, Bullpen Barbershop is a continuation of something our family has built for generations. I’m proud to keep that tradition alive in the community I’ve always called home — and I’m excited to welcome you into the Bullpen family.

Barbering isn’t just a career for me — it’s my family’s legacy.

I’m a fourth-generation barber and the proud owner of Bullpen Barbershop, right here in the Tumwater community where I was born and raised. I’ve been a licensed barber since 2007, and before building my own path in the industry, I had the privilege of learning directly from my grandparents. My grandfather dedicated 66 years to barbering, while my grandmother spent 36 years behind the chair. Growing up around them, I learned that being a great barber is about much more than giving a great haircut — it’s about building relationships, making people feel welcome, and taking pride in your craft.

Today, I’m honored to carry their legacy forward through Bullpen Barbershop.

As a master barber, I specialize in all aspects of barbering and enjoy working with clients of all ages and styles. One of the things I’m especially passionate about is working with children. I believe a haircut should be a positive experience, not something a child has to dread. I take pride in creating a patient, friendly, and loving environment where kids can feel comfortable being themselves. I also have a strong passion for working with children who are neurodivergent and understand that every child may need a different approach, pace, or level of patience.

Kris — Barber

Hi, I’m Kris Brady, a licensed barber dedicated to helping every client look and feel their best. Since earning my barber license in 2024, I’ve been honing my craft while working in a corporate barbershop environment, gaining valuable experience with clients of all ages and styles.

As a proud husband, father of five, and dog owner, I understand the importance of creating a welcoming, comfortable experience where everyone feels at home in the chair. My passion for barbering goes beyond haircuts—it’s about building relationships, earning trust, and helping people leave with confidence.

I’m excited to begin the next chapter of my career at Bullpen Barbershop, where I’m building my own brand and growing my clientele. At 26, Chase Kingston is a rising barber with a sharp eye for detail and a genuine drive to master the craft. After gaining hands-on experience as an intern, Chase earned his barber license in 2026 and is ready to put his skills to work behind the chair.

Chase has a strong focus on modern barbering, specializing in taper fades, custom designs, and clean beard lineups. He enjoys the precision and creativity that come with modern styles and takes pride in delivering clean, finished looks.

With a fresh perspective and a commitment to continually improving his technique, Chase brings energy, creativity, and attention to detail to every appointment. He is focused on building lasting client relationships while developing his own style and reputation as a barber.
